Our bikes were stolen 31-st of August 2014 in the car park in Riva del Garda in Italy. Excuse us for our inattention! :o(

We still missed snow in this year!

Therefore we knew that we are going skiing during this Easter holiday. However we decided at the last moment because weather still changed. Lastly we said: “What shall we wash windows at home?” :o) We did our decision one day before our leave. All our conditions were really cold, the weather on Kitzsteinhorn glacier and temperature in our room too. :o) We couldn’t complain of winter conditions. The next day after our arrival 30 cm new powder snow waited for us in the ski resort. Actually sunny weather surprised us after 2 hour skiing. Skiing was enough power because of a lot of amount snow. The second day was a vacant and relaxing day for us. We looked over Kaprun castle and its surroundings. We did some needed shopping. We started taste salt knited crullers. :o)

Our holiday was too short but quiet perfect. We are looking forward to this year’s biking.

We never saw such many ski slopes!

Italian Dolomites known its picturesque mountain sceneries were really such as everybody talks about them. Skiing around mountain massif “Sella Gruppe” is such as skiing in a romance. Unreal many ski slopes with various difficulties, many mountain cottages and of course little people on ski slopes. Views on Marmolada from the glass terrace of Rifugio Luigi Gorza under Porta Vescovo were fantastic for us. We were skiing only approx. 40 percent of Sellaronda ski slopes during 2 days. The third day we were already very tired :o) and we didn’t have already luck for a good weather. Spring sunny weather for other days was ordered of course. Only overall temperatures were too high during our stay. Italian food, typical Italian noise, simply everything in Italian way. :o) In order to not be any boredom at the finish of our stay we were blocked by snow with our car. After long thinking about some solution Czech brothers simply helped us. Experiences always have to be, haven’t they? :o)

We think that we found the further favorite ski resort for the holiday!
