Corsica mountains instead of Italian alps!

The long and harder decisions related to our term of the summer holiday are from year to year more frequently nightmare for us. Because of the missed August we have choosen some later September’s term. However the weather forecast for Alps was worse than in the south of Europe. Therefore our next destination is Corsica island. We have taken a few last condition biking trainings and trips in Slovakia and let’s go to Corsica island!

Finally again biking!!!

At the beginning of MTB season I took part in this year’s time mountain sprint in Bystricka to check up my spring initial condition. My goal was to improve the time 30:37 from the last year at least in 2-3 minutes. The weather forecast and overall conditions looks very good. However one surprise came too unexpectedly – strong headwind. Therefore my final time 31:31 was a little bit worse instead of some better one. The weather was surprisingly too hot at it was in April. The beer was very well. Actually I won a tombola but I wasn’t already over there.

Hello skiers,

The perfect warm and sunny weather was planned for our winter holiday with skiing on Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The accommodation was a little bit worse (mainly that short bed) and farther from the glacier (waking up at six morning) but we were at least all the more funny and traveling experiences. Actually we had the honour to meet a friend of the famous Astrian climber Hermann Buhl. After three-day’s of skiing on the glacier our legs and joints had enough of it. However our faces were satisfied and pretty good sun-tanned. Despite of that tiredness we were cross country skiing from Kirchdorf in Tirol to St. Johann in Tirol last day of our stay.
