Tuscany breathes with his history!
Every holiday in Tuscany was really wonderful. Therefore we decided to spent our this year’s sommer holiday again in Tuscany. We selected the area around Grosseto city because it is near by the western coast and seven Tuscan islands in “Parco Nazionale Arcipelago Toscano”. We visited the further one from these seven islands named Giglio. Funny unforgettable experiences were expecialy in the public bus which we used for the transfer across the island.
We discovered the wonderful sights of the Tufa Towns as well. The small villages of Tuscany are steeped in history and tradition, and the pace of life is slow and the atmosphere relaxed. Situated in the heart of a stunningly beautiful region as Tuscany is, stretching from the dazzling coastline of the Argentario to Mount Amiata and inhabited by man since Etruscan times, the Hill TopTown or Tuff-stone cities, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana are among the most picturesque towns in Italy.
The special experience was hiking on the excavated road of Etruscan age in the Necropolis of Sorano named Via Cava di San Rocco.
Everything was fine except of those Italian drivers who drive cars horribly in the southern Italy.
Well, Tuscany is unique and beatiful!
