Southern Italy didn’t disappoint with the weather but disappointed with something other …!
As usually the weather again mixed up our holiday’s plans in this summer. Our July’s decision was quick and excellent. We didn’t wait for a better weather and prefered a holiday at the sea. We didn’t hesitate too long and we selected the further island where we weren’t yet – Sardinia. We made a few trips in the southern part of this island and saw presently a lot of beautiful places. We had a lot of impressions from Italian local foods, empty beaches, the accommodation in a quiet surroundings and historical landmarks in Cagliari. Sardinia is beautiful and picturesque like Corsica. Our second Italian stay in this summer was in Arco – Garda mountains where we were already two times. We remembered that here was always the pleasantest weather in Alps. However this year’s summer was such rainy that we had the problem with scheduling of biking trips in this region as well. Our goal was to bike the famous mountain serpentine trail through “Passo di Tremalzo”. We were successful but it was in the second try. :o) We have taken nice photos throughout our visit in the town Riva del Garda. We felt like at home because we enjoyed everything as it was going although there were some unexpected surprisses. The end was realy painful. We returned to home without our bikes and with the broken front window on our car. :o(
Hopefuly next year will be happier!
